Zoologist adam britton crowd funds pygmy crocodile research in Thailand
A new study of the social group that the pygmy crocodiles belong to also appears to reveal why people from East Asia are such fervent fans of the animals. Scientists in Malaysia have found that the creatures eat human brains when they’re awake, after studying them in captivity for more than two years. The findings were published this week in the journal Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.
“When pygmy crocodiles are in the home environment, they will eat people,” study co-author an코인카지노d paleontologist Ben J. Hutton of the University of South Australia told eLife. “When they’re not home they eat in their garden and in the open area where they live.
“But they are not the only one who is good at this: when we put the pygmy croc in a lab, we found that when they were asleep, they would eat human brain fragments.”
The researchers then looked at whether those brains, when collected from pygmy crocodile brains, had the capacity to be converted into drugs — particularly dopamine.
It turns out that pygmy crocodiles and humans have some biological similarities. Both species are carnivores, which means they eat fish and other food items that aren’t a significant part of their diet, and both species also have human ancestors.

But pygmy crocodile brains are different. They aren’t only the result of an evolutionary accident but also of the human genome. When scientists looked at the genetic makeup of the pygmy crocodiles, they discovered the human genetic material, called MHC III, is closely related to pygmy crocodiles and can be switched on and off with drugs.
“MHC III can produce the human-specific gene, D-dimer, and the brain-specific gene, C-codon,” Hutton said. “In the case of pygmy crocodiles we think that it can also give them a chemical response, similar to that seen for humans in the brain.”
Scientists had previously thought that if pygmy crocodiles 33 카지노developed the behavior seen when they eat humans, that could possibly trigger a chemical reaction. To do so, they needed 온카지노to develop a specific drug that wouldn’t cause drug-induced sleepiness in humans.
Hutton and his colleagues tested the response of a new, synthetic, human-like drug, know
